This Is How We Play From the Future (2026) by visionary contemporary painter David Cuen is a grand vertical oil painting exploring temporal recursion, futuristic folklore, and surreal ritual play. Cuen composes an intricate multi-figure narrative around an otherworldly suspended piñata-like effigy set against cosmic atmospheric currents.
With its rich multicoloured palette, masterly figurative complexity, and playful yet profound conceptual narrative, this large vertical canvas stands as a tour de force of contemporary speculative surrealism. An arresting focal masterpiece for luxury residential salons, galleries, and premier art collections.
